Community Service and Events
Our club has taken a new face over the past few years with a large focus on community outreach. Every season we now hold multiple scrimmage games, each is backed by a long island or national charity. The 2010-2011 season alone we helped raise nearly $10.000 for the Camp Anchor program in Nassau County as well as the Stony Brook Indigent Fund. Students on the team also volunteer teaching the sport of Olympic Dek hockey to the mentally disabled residents of Long island. We will continue to donate our time and money to help those in need both in the Stony Brook area as well as any others that may seek our aid.
